Contraindications

Application Instructions for Optimal Results

1. Wound Preparation: Cleanse wound bed and periwound skin according to facility protocol. Pat dry surrounding skin thoroughly.
2. Dressing Selection: Remove Exuderm LP from sterile package using aseptic technique. Select a dressing size approximately 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) larger than the wound dimensions to ensure adequate periwound coverage and secure adhesion.
3. Initial Placement: Peel away one side of the paper liner carefully. Center and place the exposed adhesive surface over the wound bed and surrounding intact skin, ensuring complete wound coverage.
4. Final Adhesion: Remove the remaining protective liner and gently smooth the dressing from center outward, eliminating air pockets and ensuring complete skin contact for optimal adhesion and barrier protection.
5. Secure & Monitor: Press edges firmly to activate adhesive. Document application date and reassess per facility wound care protocol or when dressing becomes saturated, loosened, or compromised.
