The Optifoam Gentle Non-Bordered Silicone-Faced Foam Dressing represents the next generation in advanced wound care technology, combining superior comfort with clinical effectiveness. Designed for healthcare professionals and caregivers who demand the best for their patients, this innovative dressing provides gentle yet secure adhesion while maintaining an optimal moist healing environment that accelerates recovery.
Experience the difference that professional-grade wound care makes. The unique silicone-faced surface allows for easy lifting and repositioning as needed, making wound inspection and dressing changes stress-free for both patients and caregivers. Unlike traditional adhesive dressings that can cause pain and trauma during removal, our silicone technology ensures gentle adhesion that minimizes skin irritation and protects fragile periwound tissue.
Soft, flexible, and highly conformable, this premium foam dressing adapts to body contours and moves naturally with the patient, ensuring maximum comfort during extended wear. The advanced foam construction effectively manages exudate while maintaining the ideal moisture balance essential for optimal wound healing. Its low-friction, shear-resistant outer layer provides enhanced comfort and protection, reducing the risk of skin breakdown from friction and pressure.
Each dressing can be easily trimmed to size for customized application, allowing you to achieve the perfect fit for various wound sizes and locations. This versatility makes it an essential addition to any wound care toolkit, whether you're managing post-surgical wounds, pressure injuries, leg ulcers, or other partial and full-thickness wounds.
Suitable for managing partial and full-thickness wounds including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, post-operative wounds, skin tears, and minor burns (first and second degree).
Not intended for use on third-degree burns or wounds with active infection without medical supervision.
Replace the dressing when drainage reaches the edges of the foam pad or when strike-through is observed. Under normal conditions, the dressing may remain in place for up to seven days, depending on the amount of wound exudate. Always use a dressing large enough to extend at least one inch beyond the wound margins to ensure proper adhesion to intact periwound skin.
This is a single-use medical device. Do not reuse or resterilize. Always select a dressing size that provides adequate coverage of both the wound bed and surrounding healthy skin to ensure optimal adhesion and protection.
