Contraindications

Application Instructions

1. Prepare the wound site: Cleanse and dry the wound and surrounding skin according to facility protocol or healthcare provider instructions.
2. Open the package: Remove the sterile dressing from its protective packaging using aseptic technique.
3. Remove first release liner: Peel away one piece of the release liner to expose the adhesive surface.
4. Position the dressing: Place the adherent side directly over the wound, ensuring adequate coverage of the wound bed and at least 1-2 cm of surrounding intact skin.
5. Remove second release liner: Carefully peel away the remaining release liner while smoothing the dressing into place.
6. Secure the edges: Gently press the dressing edges to ensure complete adhesion to the skin, avoiding wrinkles or air pockets.

Dressing Change Protocol

Replace the dressing when exudate reaches the edges of the foam pad or when strike-through is observed. Depending on wound drainage levels and clinical assessment, the dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days. Always use a dressing size large enough to cover the entire wound bed plus surrounding skin to ensure optimal protection and healing.
